The client trusts us to come into their home and help them improve their indoor air quality, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. Homeowners who receive exceptional service are more likely to return for future needs, creating a strong relationship between Guardian Home Services and our clients. While we are always happy to service new clients, our business model relies heavily on the loyalty and relationships built from years of repeat service with our clientele. We pride ourselves on the fact that word-of-mouth referrals are the most frequent way that Guardian Home Services receives new business.
The cornerstone of this relationship-building process for Guardian Home Services is educating the client throughout the entire service process. For on-site inspections, we take pictures and detailed notes of areas of concern. These are then shared with the client in a report, along with our methods of resolving the issues. On the date of service, our technicians or support staff will walk the client through the entire cleaning process, timeline, and expected results. After the service has been provided, the technician will share before-and-after pictures and industry standards for maintaining improved air quality in between cleanings. Two weeks after each job, our support staff will then reach out to the clients to ensure that no issues have occurred following our service visit.

Jamie Rough is the owner and operator of Guardian Home Services, carrying on the tradition of being locally owned and operated since 1945. Jamie grew up in Plano, playing football, soccer, and lacrosse at St. Mark’s School of Texas.
Always interested in how things worked, he went to Purdue University in Indiana, graduating with an engineering degree. His interest in residential systems was sparked when he did a class project designing the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system for a building.
After graduation, Jamie taught technical and business English in Koriyama, Japan, with companies like Mitsubishi Chemical and Anritsu Electronics.
For almost five years, Jamie worked for Montgomery Capital Advisers, working with various types of DFW-located small businesses with a specialty in residential services. His main portfolio company was a pest control and animal removal business, where Jamie learned the importance of customer service and relationships, attention to detail, and quick response times.
